Welcome to Classis Central California’s home-on-the web! As one reads the Bible, one realizes that God from the beginning was forming his people, a community that would love and follow him. Whether the community was his chosen people of the Old Testament or the church of the New Testament, God gave his community structure and organization. In the Christian Reformed Church, our structure gives the local church a great deal of freedom and authority to meet its needs and the needs of its community. We also provide a structure, Classis Central California, in which our churches work together to do far more than we could alone.
Since we cover a large geographical area, communication between our churches becomes an issue. With this website, we hope to provide a user-friendly online tool that will move us forward in helping to grow and sustain healthy churches, to enable us to engage in ongoing conversations and the sharing of ideas, and to keep us aware of matters affecting our churches and ministries. Our hope and goal is an old one: to love the Lord our God and to follow him. May we do it well and do it together. In Jesus, Larry M.
